40th Anniversary Open House & Silent Auction

Press release:

Our 40th anniversary is marked by unprecedented growth in a down economy!

Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year Volpe Enterprises located at 3238 W Germantown Pike in Norristown PA has come a long way since they were founded in 1970. That year unemployment was 3.5%, the cost of a first class stamp was 6 cents and John, Paul, George and Ringo also known as the Beatles broke up.

Today the 35 employee company provides full service remodeling including roofing, siding, windows, doors as well as design and build services for major renovations such as additions, sunrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

How does a remodeler prosper in an economy that has seen the worst housing slump in 60 years and unemployment at over 10%? “It’s simple” Says Gary Volpe President of Volpe Enterprises “our core values of quality, honesty and integrity have never changed.” The relationship has to be win win for both the client and the company.” “We built our business on the concept of doing good while doing well and for 40 years have never wavered.”

The main problem with remodeling companies is their high failure rate (as high as 60% in the first year as reported by USA Today) very commonly a byproduct of bidding work to cheaply and shoddy work done by sub contractors. It all adds up to too many headaches and when the business closes the home owner is left holding the bag.

Volpe attributes its long term success to fostering a work environment for its employees of courtesy and respect that transfers to its customers. Volpe doesn’t use subcontractors, although more expensive, it brings much more value to the consumer in the form of quality work and total control over all phases of a remodeling project insuring satisfaction. “It’s no secret that a happy customer is the best advertising” Says Gary Volpe.

To celebrate their 40th anniversary Volpe Enterprises will be holding and open house at its showroom located at 3238 W. Germantown Pike Norristown PA 19403 on August 14th starting at 10:00 am.

How to Donate to the Silent Auction on Aug. 14 2010

Volpe Enterprises, Inc. will host our annual open house to give back to the community that has supported us for over 40 years. This year’s event will offer many different prizes, incentives, a moon bounce and face painting for the kids, music and a FREE lunch for everyone.  Plus, our featured silent auction to benefit a local organization promises to be even bigger this year in commemoration of our milestone anniversary.

This year’s recipient of auction proceeds will be The Lamb Foundation of North Wales.  The Lamb Foundation offers community outreach services including the Cornucopia Cupboard, Sweet Repeats Thrift Shop, Lamb Manger Shelter and housing and support services for senior citizens and adults with mental, physical and developmental disabilities.

Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 for the Lamb Foundation. Would you be willing to donate an item to this auction to help us reach our goal? Donated items could include a new television, ipod, radio, computer, gift cards, weekend get-a-ways to shore /mountains, or even the services of your company, etc. We will auction off all donated items at our location (3238 West Germantown Pike) on August 14th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

If you would like to make a financial donation, you may send a check to Volpe Enterprises, Inc.  P.O. BOX 177, Cedars, PA 19423.    Please make your check payable to “The Lamb Foundation”. (100% of your donation goes directly to The Lamb Foundation.)

Donna Mengel, the founder of The Lamb Foundation, has provided the elderly and disabled with safe, attractive, and affordable homes in the Borough of North Wales since 1987. The Lamb Foundation is a tax-exempt program that furnishes and operates over 55 homes for more than 200 senior citizens and disabled adults who need supportive living arrangements. Please join us to see how Donna and her organization are creating a new vision in our community and making an amazing difference.

Everyone who provides an item to be auctioned will be promoted in all our advertising for this event, including local newspapers and our webpage.

Please mail a postcard or leave a comment in this post with your intended donation by July 23.

Thank you in advance for your generous support. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments about the open house auction. We can be reached at 610-539-6730 or by e-mail Information@volperoofing.com
